We continue our trip through the numerical history of the Minnesota Vikings, and our countdown to the start of the 2017 NFL regular season, with the #98. There haven’t been a lot of people that have worn this number over the years, and the most prominent one is likely the guy that’s currently wearing it.
The #98 currently belongs to defensive tackle Linval Joseph, who came to the Vikings as a free agent in 2014. After having a down first season. . .at least partially because he wound up getting shot in the leg at a Minneapolis night club during the preseason.
