We’ve completed the first quarter at Levi’s Stadium, and the Minnesota Vikings and San Francisco 49ers are tied, 7-7.
The Niners won the toss and elected to defer to the second half, giving Minnesota the football first. A couple of runs by Dalvin Cook and an incomplete pass from Kirk Cousins brought about a quick three-and-out, and Britton Colquitt punted the ball away.
San Francisco hit a couple of big plays early, as Jimmy Garoppolo found Deebo Samuel to move the ball into Minnesota territory and then hit Emmanuel Sanders on back-to-back plays to get into the red zone.
