Say it along with me, ladies and gentlemen. . .it wasn't necessarily pretty, but it certainly wound up being effective.
On the back of a powerful defense and another great performance by Adrian Peterson, the Minnesota Vikings physically dominated the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday afternoon, leaving the Georgia Dome with a 20-10 victory and a one-game lead in the NFC North.
After the teams exchanged punts on their first possession, the Vikings got on the board first. Teddy Bridgewater led a very impressive drive down the field, completing 5-of-7 passes on the drive, and Adrian Peterson took the ball over from the 1-yard line to give the Vikings an early 7-0 lead.
