With linebacker and special teams ace Kentrell Brothers having officially served his four-game suspension for violating the National Football League’s performance-enhancing drug policy, the Minnesota Vikings needed to make a roster move to get him back onto the 53-man roster. They announced that move on Friday afternoon.
The team has officially activated Brothers, and to make room on the roster they have released offensive lineman Bryan Witzmann.
Witzmann was not active in any of the games he spent on the Vikings’ roster after starting 13 games at guard for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2017.
