A good portion of the Minnesota Vikings’ success in 2017 has had to do with the play of their defense. But make no mistake about it, the Vikings’ offense has had their share of impressive plays this season as well.
In the team’s first full year with Pat Shurmur calling the plays, Minnesota’s offense finished the season with a total of 40 touchdowns, the NFL’s 11th-best passing attack, and the seventh-best rushing offense. The Vikings’ offense also ended the year with 68 plays that resulted in gains of at least 20 yards (up from the 58 times they did this in 2016).
