In Week 13, the Minnesota Vikings had a game that they entered as a double-digit favorite against a Jacksonville Jaguars team that had lost 10 straight games. On paper, it looked like an easy victory.
But that’s not the Vikings way.
Despite generating five turnovers on defense, the Vikings needed overtime to put away one of the NFL’s worst teams, eventually prevailing by a final score of 27-24 at U.S. Bank Stadium.
The visiting team got on the board first in this one, as they went down the field after the opening kickoff and got a 28-yard touchdown pass from Mike Glennon to rookie Laviska Shenault Jr.
