On Saturday afternoon, we got the privilege of seeing Minnesota Vikings football on the field once again, and there’s plenty for fans of this team to be excited about.
The scoreboard showed a 24-23 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, but beyond that there were some solid performances by several players, particularly the team’s quarterback of the future.
The Raiders dented the scoreboard first on a 31-yard field goal from Daniel Carlson with just under two minutes left in the first quarter. Both teams put together incredibly long drives to start the game, but the Vikings turned the ball over on downs at the Raiders’ 4-yard line on a failed fourth down play.
