MANKATO, Minn. -- Minnesota Vikings guard Mike Harris, who started training camp on the non-football illness list, said he's following doctors' orders while watching the Vikings' first practices. And while Harris wasn't able to say whether he'd play this year, he tried to remain optimistic about when he'd be back on the field.
"I'd like to thank the trainers and everybody taking care of me, and as soon as I get the clearance from my doctor, I'll be back out here," Harris said. "Number one, I'm just taking care of my health. I'm going to be around training camp, still on the team.
