Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports that the Minnesota Vikings will sign safety Michael Griffin, formerly of the Tennessee Titans.
The 31-year-old Griffin was a first-round pick of the Titans in 2007. He made the Pro Bowl in 2008 and 2010. He also made second-team All-Pro in 2010.
Last year for Tennessee, Griffin finished with 101 tackles and one interception. He has 25 career interceptions.
Griffin’s career-high in interceptions came in 2008 when he had seven. He has missed only three games over the course of his nine-year career.
Griffin was cut by the Titans on February 9th in a salary cap-related move.
