Halloween may have come and gone, but the cornerback situation for the Minnesota Vikings continues to be a horror show.
After today’s game, it was revealed that cornerback Mark Fields II suffered a punctured lung during today’s victory over the Green Bay Packers, and that he did not travel back to Minneapolis with the team. He will be driven home tomorrow.
Fields was one of three cornerbacks for the Vikings that was injured in Sunday’s game. Rookie cornerback Cameron Dantzler suffered what appeared to be a serious head/neck injury late in the first quarter, but the good news on him is that he was released from the hospital following the game and did travel back to the Twin Cities with his teammates.
