Another of the free agents who were a member of the Minnesota Vikings will be returning to the team on a one-year contract according to a recent report from Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press.
Marcus Sherels is a valuable part of the Vikings team, especially on special teams. He was handling returns (kick and punt) as well as took part in coverage as part of those units. However, he isn’t used on defense very much.
This will be the seventh season the cornerback and special teams ace will be a member of Minnesota’s football team.
