Two weeks removed from the 2015 NFL Draft — and one from the Winter Park debut of Vikings rookies — positive remarks about Minnesota’s selections are continuing.
College Football 24/7 writers spotlighted Vikings draft picks in a variety of ways this week.
Mike Huguenin used the pre-draft rankings of NFL Media Senior Analyst Gil Brandt’s Hot 100 list and assigned a reverse numerical value for a point system to evaluate all 32 teams (the No. 1 player was worth 100 points; the No. 2 player was worth 99).
Brandt had six players the Vikings selected in his Hot 100 (indicates the points that each player received from Huguenin for the tally):
That combination of players and values yielded 290 points, the most of any team, and that was with Rick Spielman not trading back into the first round for the first time as Vikings GM.
