Despite his outstanding efforts on the field whenever he was given the opportunity to play for the Minnesota Vikings during the most recent preseason, Kyle Sloter was not selected as the team’s backup behind Kirk Cousins for 2019.
In fact, the Vikings didn’t even keep him on the roster for the regular season. Instead, Minnesota went with Sean Mannion as their No. 2 quarterback for this year, a guy who has yet to throw a touchdown pass since he entered the NFL in 2015.
It didn’t take long for Sloter to land with another team after the Vikings sent him packing though.
