It’s the month of November, and with that we’ve on to the NFL’s annual “Salute to Service” month. As a part of this particular month, each NFL team has nominated a player for the Salute to Service Award, which is given out by the folks from USAA.
For this season, the nominee that the Minnesota Vikings have put forward is running back Latavius Murray, and based on what he’s done recently, he would seem to have a pretty solid chance of winning the award.
Murray was a part of the USO tour that went over to Germany and Italy this past offseason, and hosted the 945th Forward Surgical Team, an Army Reserve unit from Fort Snelling, at this year’s Training Camp.
