Vikings Chief Operating Officer Kevin Warren, his family and friends hosted a Christmas Day dinner for patients, families, caregivers and staff on Sunday at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital. During a time they were unable to be at home with their families, 500 people enjoyed the holiday meal.
“Sunday was an incredibly special event,” Warren said. “It was important for us to host the meal on Christmas Day and bring some holiday festivity to the hospital. Greta and I count our blessings, and we recognize that many families are going through difficult and uncertain days.”
Added Warren: “It was our wish to bring the holidays to them and give them a day to celebrate and enjoy a good home-cooked meal together.
