The special teams units for the Minnesota Vikings should soon be seeing the return of one of their top players.
After serving a four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s policy on Performance Enhancing Drugs, linebacker Kentrell Brothers is officially able to return to the Vikings’ roster. As of now, the team has a one-week exemption for him, and if they want to add him back to the 53-man roster prior to Sunday’s game in Philadelphia they’ll have to make a corresponding roster move.
A fifth-round pick of the Vikings in 2016 draft out of the University of Missouri, Brothers has been a key part of the Vikings’ special teams units since he’s been on the roster.
