EAGAN, Minn. — Kendall Wright just completed his seventh NFL season, and has always admired the Vikings from afar.
But when the wide receiver visited Minnesota last week for an up-close visit, he was sold on the organization even more.
The Vikings announced Friday that they had signed the former first-round pick. Speaking to Twin Cities media members on Monday, Wright said a major reason he chose to sign with the Vikings was a close-knit vibe he got while visiting the Eagan headquarters.
“They have the best facilities that I’ve ever seen in all my seven years I’ve been around,” Wright said.
