In a move that has been anticipated for quite awhile, the Minnesota Vikings have placed injured cornerback Josh Robinson on the reserve/PUP list.

This means Robinson will not be eligible to play until the seventh week of the season. The Vikings have a bye week within that window so Robinson will miss only five games total.
Robinson has been unable to perform since suffering a torn pectoral muscle in a fall during minicamp. He began training camp on PUP as a result of the injury.
With final cuts looming on Saturday, the Vikings currently have Xavier Rhodes, Terence Newman, Captain Munnerlyn, Trae Waynes and Marcus Sherels penciled in as their top five corners.
