Jonathan Allen, Vikings agree to 3-year, $60M deal, per agent

Two-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Jonathan Allen has reached an agreement with the Minnesota Vikings on a three-year, $60 million contract, agent Blake Baratz of Team IFA told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Tuesday.

Allen was released by the Washington Commanders on Friday after the team failed to find a trade partner for him. He was entering the final year of his deal with a $15.5 million base salary and no more guaranteed money remaining.

Allen missed nine games in 2024 with a torn left pectoral muscle. That injury was initially said to be season-ending, but during surgery, doctors discovered the tear was not as severe as feared, allowing him to return.
