MANKATO, Minn. -- Instead of John Sullivan and Joe Berger competing against each other for the starting center spot, the two Minnesota Vikings linemen will likely get a chance to play next to each other on the team's top unit, at least for a short period of time.
Guard Brandon Fusco, who left the last part of Friday's practice with an injury, probably won't participate in Saturday's night practice in Blakeslee Stadium, coach Mike Zimmer said on Saturday morning. That means Berger, who started in Fusco's place at right guard in 2014 and filled in for the injured Sullivan at center last year, will take Fusco's place at right guard for now.
