Kevin O’Connell announced today that JJ McCarthy is dealing with “routine” knee soreness after Saturday’s preseason game against the Raiders. He added that McCarthy could have finished the game, but got to the 30-snap limit they had set for him beforehand.
McCarthy is going to have his knee examined, but Judd Zulgad is reporting that he may not travel to Cleveland for joint practices, depending on the nature of the knee soreness.
