The folks from Vizio have announced their nominees for this year’s Top Value Player Award, and a member of the Minnesota Vikings is among the five players up for this year’s award.
That player is running back Jerick McKinnon, who is up for the 11th annual award. The award is meant to recognize the player whose on-field performance most exceeds the value of their contract.
McKinnon, the Vikings’ third-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, is in the final year of his rookie contract, a deal that paid him $820,000 this season.
