However, it looks like he's coming back to Minnesota. . .if only for one day.
The Minnesota Vikings have just announced that #69 has signed a one-day contract with the team, and will officially retire from the National Football League at a news conference tomorrow.
The Vikings acquired Allen from the Kansas City Chiefs prior to the 2008 NFL Draft, giving up a first-round pick and two third-round picks in exchange for his services.
