In the Minnesota Vikings’ 3-0 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders this past Sunday, rookie linebacker Ivan Pace Jr. was dominant all over the field, and on Wednesday he was recognized for his performance.
Pace was named the NFC’s Defensive Player of the Week on Wednesday, becoming the third member of the Vikings this season to secure the weekly honor.
In addition to the game-sealing interception of Aidan O’Connell with than two minutes remaining, Pace had thirteen tackles and a sack in leading the Vikings’ defense to their first shutout since the 2017 season.
