There were some very high expectations for Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson prior to the 2014 NFL season. Many media outlets and fans were declaring him to be one of the breakout players in the league after a promising rookie campaign, but sadly those expectations came crashing down after a year full of injuries and struggles.
According to a video on NFL.com, NFL Network’s Jamie Dukes feels like Patterson is a ship lost at sea after struggling with concepts necessary to play wide receiver at the professional level.

“There’s no question this guy is a phenomenal talent, but you have to be able to know and understand and comprehend the playbook.
