MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — In the second round of the NFL draft, the Vikings chose cornerback Andrew Booth Jr. of Clemson with the 42nd overall pick.
In a tweet, the team said that it was building a stronger secondary.

Earlier in the night, the Vikings traded their 34th overall second round pick to the Green Bay, which the Packers used to take North Dakota State’s Christian Watson.
On the first day of the draft, the Vikings also traded down and tapped hard-hitting safety Lewis Cine.
