When the Minnesota Vikings were putting together their signings in the post-draft free agent signing frenzy, one of the players that a lot of people were intrigued by was Washington State defensive lineman Hercules Mata’afa. Aside from having what might have been the best name in the entire 2018 class of draftees (or potential draftees), no one was quite sure what the team was going to do with the 250-pounder who made his name in college as a defensive tackle.
Due to some unfortunate circumstances, it appears that they’re going to have some extra time to figure it out.
