MINNEAPOLIS -- Hall of Famer Chris Doleman underwent surgery Thursday to remove a brain tumor.
The beloved former Minnesota Vikings defensive end, who played for Minnesota from 1985-93 and ended his career as a Viking in 1999, received a flood of support on social media as he underwent the procedure in Atlanta.
The entire Vikings family is thinking of Chris Doleman and wishing him the best as he undergoes surgery.

Someone monitoring Doleman's Twitter account tweeted a message of gratitude Tuesday as the defensive end geared up for surgery.
