Being named to the Pro Bowl is quite an honor for Minnesota Vikings players in today’s NFL. Not only does it mean they are among the most popular individuals in the league, but many players receive bonuses if they are named to the roster.
This year, there are several Vikings players who deserve to be in the NFL’s version of the All-Star Game, but sometimes some of those who have earned a spot end up not getting in based on lack of name recognition or market size.
Of course, fans of Minnesota have to be hoping that any Vikings players voted into the game are unable to play since it will be held one week before the Super Bowl.
