Former Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kyle Sloter is signing with the Chicago Bears.

Heading into the 2019 season, there was a bit of uncertainty surrounding who would end up as the No. 2 quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings behind Kirk Cousins.

The Vikings appeared set on giving Sean Mannion the role, but Kyle Sloter certainly didn’t make the team’s decision easy during the 2019 preseason. Sloter proved time and time again during his opportunities out on the field that he could make plays.

Unfortunately for him, Minnesota decided to give Mannion the backup job behind Cousins and instead of keeping Sloter around as their third quarterback, the team ended up waiving the young signal-caller.
