Todd Bouman was an undrafted quarterback out of St. Cloud State when the Vikings signed him as a free agent in 1997. He made the most of his opportunity.
Bouman spent six seasons with the Vikings before embarking on a nomadic journey through the NFL that took him to seven other teams over the next eight seasons. He had two stints with the Baltimore Ravens and was signed, released and re-signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars half a dozen times.
Now in his second year coaching the football team at Buffalo High School, the 43-year-old graduate of Russell-Tyler-Ruthton High School is trying to take what he learned in high school, college and the NFL and teach it to teenagers.
