Former Vikings lineman Jeremiah Sirles signs with the Carolina Panthers

The Minnesota Vikings signed an offensive lineman yesterday, but they have allowed a veteran player who has spent three years with the team leave in free agency, resulting in him being signed by another organization.

Chris Tomasson from the Pioneer Press recently announced on his Twitter account that offensive tackle and guard Jeremiah Sirles has indeed signed a contract with the Carolina Panthers to play for one season.

Here is his tweet including the details of the transaction:

Offensive lineman Jeremiah Sirles signed a one-year deal with the Panthers for the veteran minimum of $790,000.
