Chad Greenway was the heart and soul of the Minnesota Vikings linebacker grouping for a decade after joining the team as a first-round pick out of the University of Iowa when the franchise used the 17th overall selection in the 2006 NFL Draft on him.
On the field, Greenway was known for his hard-nosed style of defense and surefire tackling technique, leading the franchise in tackles for multiple seasons as well as the NFL during the 2010 NFL season.
Making the decision to retire following the 2016 NFL season, Greenway continued to focus on his charitable efforts with the Lead The Way Foundation, which included Chad’s Locker, TendHER Heart Luncheon, Field of Dreams, playground builds, and much more.
