On Thursday evening, one of the multiple Vikings players who saw their practice squad contracts expire this week decided to move on. That player is former Vikings LB Ryan Connelly, who has decided to jump ship and join the New Orleans Saints, per Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press.
Connelly, an Eden Prairie native, was a key contributor to the Vikings special teams groups in both 2020 and 2021. After spending his rookie season of 2019 with the New York Giants, he came to Minnesota and played in 26 games during the following two seasons.
