When the Vikings lost both Garrett Bradbury and Austin Schlottmann to injuries earlier in the 2022 season, they brought on veteran center Greg Mancz as their backup behind Chris Reed, who was taking his first snaps at center of his NFL career.
As it turned out, the Vikings did not need Mancz’s services for too long as Bradbury was able to return in time for their Wild Card game against the New York Giants. With that, the Vikings waived Mancz and rode into their playoff game with Bradbury and Reed as their two options.
