FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. -- As lightning forced the Minnesota Vikings inside, just as players pulled up to the team's annual playground build on Wednesday afternoon, Adrian Peterson spent the first public appearance of his return to the team strolling down the hall of an elementary school, signing autographs for a gaggle of kids that followed him to a school assembly.
