Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd was on the field during Wednesday’s practice, but is still unable to run, according to ESPN’s Ben Goessling.
Floyd missed most of the 2016 season with a knee injury, suffering nerve damage during the subsequent surgery that has put his career in doubt, but believes he’ll make it back on the field in 2017, saying “it’s a matter of when.”
After struggling during his rookie campaign, Floyd showed signification improvement with 86.7 and 76.2 overall grades in second and third seasons, respectively.
