It is a strange thing when a coach misses a game during the NFL season, but that was the case when Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer had to undergo emergency eye surgery during the 2016 NFL season.
Since then, he rejoined the team and was seen wearing an eyepatch, but more work will need to be done to repair his eye. However, that procedure will need to wait for a little while, as there is still work to be done.
Recently, the Pioneer Press took part in a Q&A with Vikings general manager Rick Spielman where they discussed many topics regarding Minnesota’s football team.
