Everson Griffen finally cracked the NFL’s Top 100 list, as the Vikings defensive end made his debut by coming in at No. 92 on Monday night.
The list is voted upon solely by NFL players.
Griffen had 48 total tackles (according to coaches’ tally) and added 8.0 sacks with three fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles in 2016.
Packers defensive tackle Mike Daniels said Griffen is known for his quick first step that helps him get to the opposing quarterback.
“It’s like an explosion,” Daniels said. “As soon as the ball is snapped, it’s like a bomb went off and he’s just flying around the edge.
