Last year, the Minnesota Vikings hit it big in undrafted free agency when they got linebacker Ivan Pace Jr. to come to Minnesota in the post-draft signing frenzy. Pace pushed his way into the lineup early on and wound up starting 11 games in his first NFL season.
This year, the Vikings might have found themselves another player who was passed over on Draft weekend who could make a significant impact in the form of UCLA edge defender Gabriel Murphy. Murphy, despite having solid grades from most of the Really Smart Football People™ in the pre-Draft process, went all three days without hearing his name called and got a solid amount of guaranteed money to come to Minnesota.
