MINNEAPOLIS -- Cordarrelle Patterson set himself up outside the numbers around the Minnesota Vikings' 40-yard line on Sunday, gaining inside leverage on the man across from him as he streaked down the field in pursuit of the ball over his head.
He fought past one final Carolina Panthers player inside the 5-yard line, located the ball and hauled it in 58 yards downfield for his biggest play of the day.
