We’ve made it through the first quarter of this NFC North matchup on Monday Night Football, and the Minnesota Vikings lead the Chicago Bears by a score of 10-0.
The Vikings won the coin toss and chose to defer to the second half, giving Caleb Williams and the Chicago offense the football first. The Bears found themselves with a 4th-and-1 from their own 39-yard line, and new head coach Thomas Brown chose to go for it. D’Andre Swift didn’t get the needed yardage, and the Vikings forced a quick turnover on downs.
