Back in the 1980’s, the Chicago Bears were at the height of their success and released a song called ‘The Super Bowl Shuffle’. The Minnesota Vikings currently have a shuffle as well, but this one doesn’t have a fun song attached to it.
The Vikings have made a habit of shuffling around their practice squad on a regular basis. By rotating the guys on that unit, they can keep an extra player on the payroll to evaluate for possible future contribution on the main roster.
The transactions continued on Monday, December 5, 2016 with the Minnesota Vikings announcing the return of safety Cedric Thompson to the practice squad on their official Twitter account:
