It was a little less than two months ago that the Minnesota Vikings made quarterback Kirk Cousins the highest-paid player in NFL history (a run that has since ended thanks to the Atlanta Falcons’ new contract with quarterback Matt Ryan). It was sort of a big deal at the time, as the Vikings helped to make history.
Apparently, at least one group of folks was a little confused, as this alert went out earlier today via the CBS Sports mobile app.
To clarify, the Vikings have not, in fact, signed Kerry Collins.
