EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Before they face a team that makes more use of four-receiver sets than almost any team in the NFL, the Minnesota Vikings should have a deeper set of options in their secondary on Sunday.
The Vikings listed cornerback Captain Munnerlyn as questionable on their final injury report of the week, and Munnerlyn said his right ankle injury was feeling much better after daily treatment this week. He was a full participant in Friday's practice and sounded optimistic he'd be able to play Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.
If he's back in the lineup, Munnerlyn could see plenty of Larry Fitzgerald, whom the Cardinals often move to the slot in their multiple-receiver sets.
