A fan favorite from recent Minnesota Vikings’ history is making his way up the coaching ranks for what he was best known for during his time in purple.
Heath Farwell, who was a special teams standout for the Vikings for six seasons, was hired on Wednesday as the new Special Teams Coach of the Buffalo Bills. Prior to today, he had served as a special teams coordinator for both the Seattle Seahawks and the Carolina Panthers.
Farwell signed with the Vikings back in 2005 as an undrafted free agent out of San Diego State.
