There’s not much Chad Greenway hasn’t seen or done through the course of 10 NFL seasons.
The list grew smaller Sunday when the weakside linebacker was called on to play snaps at middle linebacker for the first time in Minnesota’s 21-18 overtime victory over St. Louis.
Greenway was already filling in for Eric Kendricks as one of two linebackers in the Vikings nickel defense, but an ankle injury midway through the fourth quarter to Audie Cole, who replaced Kendricks in base defense, caused Minnesota to move Greenway to MLB and bring in Brandon Watts at WLB.
