Attack on Vikings fan may cost 49ers stadium booze after halftime

The assault of a Vikings fan outside the San Francisco 49ers stadium after last week's Monday Night Football game might cost 49ers fans beer privileges in the second half of games.

The San Francisco Chronicle reported that at least two Santa Clara, Calif., city council members are mulling a ban on booze after halftime as they seek to clean up behavior in the wake of the incident.

Three men and a 17-year-old girl were arrested after video of the attack was posted on Facebook. The man who posted the video said the scuffle stemmed from trash talk after the 49ers beat the Vikings in Week 1 of the NFL season.
