IRVING, Texas -- The Minnesota Vikings will play their first outdoor home playoff game since the 1976 NFC Championship Game when they take on the Seattle Seahawks in the wild-card round Sunday.
The Vikings beat the Los Angeles Rams in the conference title game at the old Metropolitan Stadium to advance to the Super Bowl. From 1981-2013, the Vikings played inside a dome but have moved to TCF Bank Stadium on the campus at the University of Minnesota while their new stadium is being completed.
