An argument can easily be made that the Minnesota Vikings are the team that has made the biggest splash in free agency during the 2018 NFL offseason.
Not only did the Vikings find a way to land free-agent quarterback Kirk Cousins, but Minnesota managed to sign defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson in free agency this year as well. After these big acquisitions, the Vikings also added two more free-agents this offseason in offensive lineman Tom Compton and wide receiver Kendall Wright.
Minnesota’s salary cap hit for these four new players in 2018 is expected to be around $34 million ($24 million of it is from Cousins).
